About the Firm

I am a Memphis native, having been raised between Memphis, TN. and Atlanta, GA. I am a graduate of Memphis Central High School, the University of Memphis, and THE Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Before becoming an attorney, I worked for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a policy analyst. While there, I worked on a project centered around preventing recidivism by finding jobs within the government for individuals once they were released from prison. I wrote policy about the value of individuals who learned to farm while being incarcerated being given the opportunity to farm on land funded by USDA grants upon their release. I then worked for a firm where I negotiated insurance claims for people who had been in car accidents or were injured on the job. After that, I was a child advocate for children in the Cincinnati Public School System. I then moved to Arkansas, and became an attorney for a non-profit in Pine Bluff, AR., where I concentrated on social security, property law, probate law, and public benefits, which include food stamps, Medicare/Medicaid, and unemployment benefits. Once I left the nonprofit sector, I worked for a criminal law firm in Little Rock, AR., where I focused on civil rights and criminal law at both the State and Federal levels. With my experience, it's no wonder why instead of taking the fall, you should call Jay Paul.
